Bursary Scheme

A transformative initiative focused on supporting underprivileged children in Uganda by providing them with the resources they need to succeed in school and life.

At ELOI Ministries, we believe that education is the foundation of a brighter future. That’s why we’ve developed the Bursary Scheme, a life-changing initiative designed to support underprivileged families in Uganda. Many families struggle to educate their children due to financial constraints, leading to limited opportunities and a cycle of poverty.

Our Mission

The Bursary Scheme is part of our larger mission to:

We envision a future where every child in Uganda has the opportunity to access quality education, regardless of their financial struggles. No child should be forced to abandon their dreams or potential simply because their family cannot afford the cost of schooling. By breaking these barriers, we aim to create a generation of empowered children who can thrive, succeed, and contribute to a brighter future for their communities.

How the Bursary Scheme Works

The program identifies children from low-income families who are at risk of dropping out of school or never enrolling due to financial hardships. Once selected, these children receive full tuition sponsorship for primary, secondary, or vocational education, ensuring they have access to uninterrupted learning. In addition, they are provided with essential school supplies such as books, uniforms, and stationery to ease the financial burden on their families. Beyond material support, the program offers mentorship and guidance to help foster academic success and personal growth, giving children the confidence and motivation to overcome challenges. This holistic approach ensures that each child not only stays in school but is equipped with the tools and support needed to thrive academically and build a brighter future.

Why This Matters

Education is a fundamental right and a powerful catalyst for change. Many families struggle to afford school fees and supplies, leaving countless children without access to quality education.

The Bursary Scheme, part of ELOI Ministries’ mission, aims to bridge this critical gap by providing the support these children need to access quality education and unlock their full potential.

Through this initiative, ELOI Ministries is not only investing in individual futures but also fostering a more educated, empowered, and resilient community.
