ELOI Ministries has developed this project to give a helping hand to poor families that have failed to educate their children by providing financial assistance and material support to help realize an increase in the literacy levels in Uganda and in turn eradicate poverty.
Despite efforts to improve education access in Uganda through Universal Primary and Secondary Education (UPE and USE), significant challenges persist, particularly financial constraints. Bursaries help students manage finances, enhancing their university experience and participation in community activities. With 70% of Ugandans illiterate and males having higher literacy rates, sponsoring a child in need can transform lives and empower communities.
