Our School Outreach program aims to address the barriers that prevent children from completing their education. By engaging communities, providing essential resources, and fostering a supportive learning environment, we strive to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed academically.
Join us in making a difference! Together, we can help ensure that every child has the opportunity to complete their education.
It is essential to acknowledge that dropout rates in primary schools are concerningly high, particularly among girls, but boys also face significant challenges. This disparity can be attributed to various factors, such as early pregnancies, limited interest in education, demanding household responsibilities, early marriages, and inadequate access to essential school materials like exercise books and pencils. Both genders encounter obstacles that hinder their educational journeys, highlighting the need for comprehensive support to ensure that all children can thrive in their learning environments.
In contrast, the Ministry of Education in Uganda has reported that dropout rates in secondary schools are significantly lower than in primary schools. This stark difference underscores the urgent need for targeted interventions to address the high rates of primary school dropouts in Uganda.
ELOI Ministries has taken proactive steps to combat this issue by distributing scholastic materials and providing bursaries for school fees, helping children in areas like Kayunga District stay in school. Excitingly, there are plans to expand these vital projects to other regions across the country, ensuring that more children have the opportunity to pursue their education and realize their dreams.
