The organization core values are embedded in five fold:
These underpin the approach of all Organization Departments, management and support staff to their duties and responsibilities. All Organization personnel are expected to be truthful, reliable, and accountable for their actions.
Important principles that underlie ELOI Ministries’ human resource management and development objectives, policies and programs. ELOI Ministries is an equal opportunity employer that believes in implementing a responsive performance-based reward system to attract and retain highly competent and motivated personnel.
This entails getting concerned with and contributing to the resolution of problems of individual internal and external customers that may have either a direct or an indirect bearing on the smooth operation of the Organization.
Refers to ELOI Ministries’ conviction that the community/client constitutes the primary reason for the organization’s existence. ELOI Ministries’ approach to program design and delivery, therefore, seeks first to respond to and satisfy identified needs of the different community segments that are served by the Organization. ELOI Ministries will be guided by the principle of providing value-for-money to all its clients.
Key to the successful achievement of ELOI Ministries’ endeavors, right from the sharing of a common vision, mission, and objectives to the mutual support that individuals are expected to extend to one another to ensure cost effective implementation of planned activities.
In order to achieve our objectives, ELOI Ministries has established Fivefold core values, above which are enlightened into nine core organizational values. For consistency, these are set out below:

This demands, inter alia, a thorough knowledge of one’s field of endeavor as well as demonstration of skill, high ethical standards, and respect for ELOI Ministries’ clients and other stakeholders.
Requires the Organization to design programs that meet the expectations of the community by taking into account constraints such as professional commitments, family commitments and distance.
The Organization shall encourage staff to come up with new ideas as long as they help to fulfill the Organization’s mandate. The existing decentralized framework and the planning system, which is cascaded from the strategic level through the tactical level to the operational level, provides the necessary incentives for innovation.
The sustainability of this Organization is guaranteed on grounds that “knowledge is power” and that this knowledge can be transmitted from one person to another. Equipping the people with knowledge will reduce on ignorance first, and guarantee them with long life for sustainable development.

The origin of Eternal Life Organization International Ministries (ELOIM) is a reality of the founder’s childhood dream. It stretches way back to 1998, a year that came with sudden life changing events that shaped the idea from a mere word of thought and world view to a clear vision many years down the road that still exists to date as a mandate of service. An adolescent then at the age of 13 lost his parents within a space of two months, left with no alloCare support systems, his existence along with the siblings at the moment drifted from upscale well to do living to dire vulnerability with an everyday living cornered with psychosocial and economical challenges. Everybody would expect that the extreme suffering, hunger, starvation, trauma, stress, and exploitation would alter the young man’s destination however, these instead became corner stones to resilience and survival.
It didn’t take long to get to supportive environments and groups. While at St. Joseph Nazigo, Off-Tu Mission Christian organization that was providing evangelism in the school whose mission was to reach many young people with the gospel of Christ reignited the passion of serving the vulnerable communities within available resources, this also served as a gestation period of comprehensive design layout of ELOIM exact services.
“Joining this team was one of the best things that ever happened in my life since my parents passing, and while I spread the word of God so was my dream being fulfilled” said Pastor Steven Tendo.
The period between 1998 to 2004 saw Uganda suffer a number of crises, with the biggest population vulnerable and many children orphaned, any support at this point of time was lifesaving. Experiencing this with hands on showed how easy it would be to achieve ELOIM mission of bringing dignity and hope to men, women and children in African communities through health care access, education, access to justice and environment and climate mitigation.
In 2007, while at university, the ELOIM identity and activities spearhead by a number of colleagues into different communities were widespread, successes were counted, lessons learnt and impact felt. This shaped the generation of a clear goal, vision, mission, and core values. In 2009, ELOIM was fully incorporated as an NGO to provide its services nationally in the areas of Health care, Education, Access to justice and community reintegration, and Environment and climate change mitigation. And since incorporation, the organization has served over 6 million people with support from different partners, line ministries, donations in cash and relief and collaborations in its four major thematic areas. Uganda serving as the headquarter, ELOIM opened a second branch in USA in 2015 under leadership and management of Pastor Steven Tendo to ensure continuous and sustainable support towards the cause of serving the vulnerable communities. The bigger dream is to have ELOIM coordinating offices in every part of Africa to support the realization of “Hope for an African Child.”
Since 2004 , ELOI Ministries founded by Tendo Steven, has been able to transform a number of lives of young people, widows, orphans and destitute Children through mobile medical care, bible studies, provision of formal education , grooming and advocates for the rights of the children of Africa. Steven’s team feel so blessed and touched as they witness firsthand the hope and joy the children have found in Jesus Christ and ELOI Ministries’ experience.
