Beyond the Diagnosis: Comprehensive Care for HIV/AIDS

Introduction: The Ongoing Public Health Battle Next week marks World Tuberculosis Day, a stark reminder of the opportunistic infections that prey on vulnerable immune systems. In Uganda, this is inextricably linked to our ongoing battle with HIV/AIDS. While global headlines may have moved on, HIV/AIDS remains a major public health issue affecting the people living in Uganda. The prevalence of the virus remains a major concern, deeply affecting men, women, and children in the communities we serve.

The ELOIM Health Mandate Healthcare is one of the four major pillars of ELOI Ministries. We work relentlessly to increase access to quality medical care and health education.

  • The Buwenge Hospital Partnership: We do not work in isolation. Since 2013, ELOI Ministries has been in a strategic partnership with Buwenge Hospital. This collaboration allows us to facilitate crucial healthcare access for those who might otherwise be turned away or unable to afford treatment.
  • Holistic Support: Managing HIV/AIDS requires more than just medication; it requires consistent nutrition, maternal health support to prevent mother-to-child transmission, and education to combat community stigma.

Conclusion: Health is a Human Right We believe that every individual deserves access to basic health necessities, regardless of their religious affiliation or economic status. By partnering with healthcare providers like Buwenge Hospital, we ensure that people receive the quality resources and care they need to live vibrant, dignified lives.

  1. I want to share my testimony about living with HIV. When I was diagnosed, I felt scared and hopeless. But with proper medical treatment and support, I learned that HIV is manageable. During my journey, I also received encouragement, wellness and a proper herbal treatment support from Dr kokobi. He provided guidance, counseling, and natural wellness support that helped me stay strong emotionally and physically while undergoing the herbal treatment plan he recommended for me. Today, I am healthier, more confident, and absolutely free and grateful to dr kokobi. This experience taught me that with the right care, support, and faith, life with HIV can still be hopeful and meaningful and you can also be free too.
